What will Billy Abbott say?
The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, December 7, 2023, commemorate the day that shall live in infamy by putting the infamous Jill front and center with friends and enemies alike.
Jill (Jess Walton) tried to convince Billy (Jason Thompson) to come work at the company his mother now runs — from a distance. Billy insisted on staying with his family company. After all, he was an Abbott. He had a legitimate claim to Jabot, whereas Jill’s claim on Katherine’s (Jeanne Cooper) life’s work always felt a bit tenuous.

Jill tried to turn Billy against Jack (Peter Bergman). Billy insisted he and his brother make a good team. But will that camaraderie splinter as Jack continues to avoid seeing what his son, Kyle (Michael Mealor), is doing right under Jack’s nose? If Kyle continues to come between Jack and Billy, will Jill’s offer become more and more appealing?
But, it’s not just Billy Jill is sparring with. There is also Mamie (Veronica Redd). The two have a long history of animosity dating back to their love for the same man — John Abbott. And Tucker (Trevor St. John) is doing his best to fan those flames. Hard.
Tucker wants the company Jill is eager to hand to Billy. He needs to keep Mamie on his side, and checkmate Jill. Which is easier when the women are in full hate mode. Tucker is good at making people feel hateful.
Victor (Eric Braeden) is doing his best to make sure everyone knows how evil Nate (Sean Dominic) was in believing Victor’s senile act and suggesting a sick man get medical help. Can you imagine anything more devious? He told Devon (Bryton James) not to trust his cousin. Not that Devon was feeling moved to do so. Lily (Christel Khalil) feels the same way. But will a sudden crisis make Nate’s hiring seem irrelevant? Is it time for Neil’s children to circle the wagons?
