These The Young and the Restless spoilers tease keeping secrets, launching schemes, and much more. This will be a week you won’t want to miss!
Lauren (Tracey Bregman) recently came to Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) rescue when the Newman matriarch showed up at the GCAC clearly inebriated. A quick-thinking Lauren escorted Nikki to one of the hotel rooms where she hoped she could dry out. Lauren was obviously shook over seeing Nikki in such an out-of-control way.
That must be why she’s turning to Nikki’s friend and former husband, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). She tells him that Nikki’s in trouble and that she’s in over her head, presumably, in finding ways to help Nikki. Will Jack put aside his war with Tucker (Trevor St. John) to help Nikki? Will Nikki even appreciate Lauren turning to someone outside the Newman circle?
Oh, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) is up to her shenanigans once again. Ever since Danny (Michael Damian) returned, she’s shown interest in the man she was formerly obsessed with. She almost engineered a holiday hook-up (they did kiss). And she’s been very vocal about how Christine (Lauralee Bell) isn’t the woman that’ll make him happy.
So look for Phyllis to crank up the heat in order to win Danny’s heart. But is she doing this to genuinely strike up a relationship with Danny, one that’s meaningful and long-term? Or is she simply doing all of this to come out on top and prevent Christine from experiencing happiness with the resident rock star?
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) has a secret and she’s blatantly not telling her wife about it. The surprise is bigger than a bread box and smaller than a car. So what is in the package she won’t let Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) see? More importantly, when will she let Tessa in on the mystery?
Meanwhile, the corporate environment at Chancellor-Winters is about to get a little friendlier. Because Devon (Bryton James) and Billy (Jason Thompson) make the mature decision to put their differences aside.
Finally, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Tucker’s he said/she said games escalate further when she backs Tucker into a corner. Is this a physical or metaphorical backing into a corner? Because one never knows with these two.
