For the week of February 5 – February 9 on The Young and the Restless, spoilers tease characters questioning, strategizing, compromising, and much more. This will be a week you won’t want to miss!
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) continues to struggle with her addiction while also trying to keep just how bad it is from Victor. Well, sorry Nikki, but Victor (Eric Braeden) is suspicious. He’s going to make sure he saves you from yourself.
Ultimately, Victor and Nikki reach a compromise. The question is what will this compromise look like? Will it involve a more intensive way to deal with her drinking? Meanwhile, Diane (Susan Walters) is starting to get upset over Jack (Peter Bergman) and Nikki’s bond. So far she’s accepted her husband’s need to sponsor and guide Nikki through her relapse. But that was only going to last so long, right? Will Diane exhibit old behaviors in response?
It’s been a minute since Danny (Michael Damian) has laid eyes on Christine (Lauralee Bell), but look for the two to reconnect this week. How awkward will their conversation get considering the last time Christine saw Danny he was kissing Phyllis (Michelle Stafford, who recently challenged her co-stars)?
Unfortunately, Christine and Phyllis’s rivalry rears its ugly head. In fact, it flares up big time and even takes a dangerous turn. Pretty reminiscent of years past, Phyllis suspiciously is forced to keep up appearances. Whatever this means, it’s clear chaos and mayhem once again rule when it comes to this particular triangle.
Interestingly, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) is about to make a big decision. This is nothing new for her since she recently decided to take a position on the board at Chancellor-Winters. And now that she’ll be able to work there alongside Devon (Bryton James), has she decided to do something with Society? And why is she meeting up with Tessa (Cait Fairbanks)?
Elsewhere, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam (Mark Grossman) start to question their parenting skills. Does this mean, Connor actually pops back up in Genoa City? Also is he in trouble? Why would these two suddenly have to analyze what kind of parents they are?
Finally, Mamie (Veronica Redd) is back in the picture and she, of course, takes a family-first approach to business. Will her strategizing with Nate (Sean Dominic) go over okay with Devon and, more importantly, Jill (Jess Walton)?
