The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, February 14, put Valentine’s Day romance on hold for some Genoa City citizens, as Victor is forced to share horrible news with Nikki.
First, Victor (Eric Braeden) decided it was his responsibility to protect Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) from all news about Jordan’s (Colleen Zenk) potential escape. That backfired spectacularly. Nikki found out on her own — did Victor really think she wouldn’t, the woman runs a media company? — and went on a bender.
So now Victor has a new plan to control the situation – and Nikki’s responses to it. He is going to tell her the truth. Jordan may be out to get her. But, no worries. Victor has everything completely under control. That crazy woman won’t be able to get within 100 feet of Victor’s “baby.” Again. This time.
Victor, naturally, assumed that Nikki was Jordan’s primary target. Well, obviously, Victor is the primary-primary target. How could it be otherwise? But Nikki is the best way to get to Victor.
It didn’t cross his mustache (or at this point his goatee) that Jordan may have more important priorities. Like checking in with a hospitalized Claire (Hayley Erin). And reminding her why she and Jordan need to combine forces yet again. To go after Victor. Yeah…that’s better. Not for Claire, of course…who is horrified by the family reunion.
Sally (Courtney Hope) has been letting Adam (Mark Grossman) get closer to her again without pushing him away simultaneously. That’s definitely a step in the right direction.
Valentine’s Day should be a great time for them to celebrate their rekindled love. But Sally has other problems. Money problems. As in money problems bad enough to lose her and Chloe’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) company. So, Adam may have been thinking of candles, chocolates, and flowers. But something a bit more corporate may be what Sally really needs from him.
