The Young and the Restless spoilers weekly update for November 1 – 5, 2021, tease the week ahead is full of unfathomable realities, sadness, and worry. Tune in next week so you can catch all of the action in Genoa City!
Poor poor Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway). She was already raising a child alone because her husband was away on a work assignment, but now Chance Chancellor has been presumed dead and she is truly all alone. Thankfully, her family is by her side to help her see that there are brighter days ahead. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) devise a plan to support Abby. She’ll realize how much she needs them by her side when she is forced to endure a rude awakening.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) spends his week doling out sound advice. First, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) looks to him when she needs to discuss important family matters. Then Jack decides he isn’t going to be Phyllis Summers’s (Michelle Stafford) go-to when she’s feeling sad and alone. He deserves better than that and shows Phyllis a bit of tough love. Will Phyllis take a hint?
Short of playing God and curing cancer, there’s only so much Victoria Newman Locke (Amelia Heinle) can do to help out her husband. His prognosis is grim and she finds herself spending most of her time worrying. Surprisingly, the person she least expected to be supportive of her and Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) is extending an olive branch. Is Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) ready to put the past in the past?
Things went downhill for Nick and Phyllis. The couple decided enough was enough and decided to take a break. Nick went back to his house and picked up parenting Christian while Red stayed in her suite. She poured her heart out to Jack who assured her all would be well…eventually.
Ashland had a health set back and things were looking grim. His treatment was failing and he was facing another uphill battle. Victoria and Ashland called upon Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) to look into new and risky ways to beat his illness.
Abby refused to believe Chance is dead and did her best to push forward. Everyone came to her aid and took all the care they could of her and the baby. Victor vowed to get to the truth about whether or not Chance perished in the bombing.
