A Long Awaited Reunion!
Just days ago Neil (Kristoff St. John) finally had the opportunity to make peace with his mom. Their reunion was a whirlwind of tears and forgiveness, but it didn’t last long enough. Just as Neil was able to hold his mother in his arms, he learned it would be for the last time.

Lucinda Passes Away!
Neil’s long lost mother couldn’t hold on any longer. Now that she’s made peace with this world, it’s time to move on to the next. With her son by Lucinda’s (Nichelle Nichols) side, she takes her last breath and lets herself slip away. Poor Neil barely had time to process her presence, and now he has to deal with her death.

Much to Neil’s regret, Lucinda didn’t have a chance to meet the rest of his family. Lily (Christel Khalil) and her children never got to meet the woman who gave him life. At the very least, he gave Lucinda her dying wish when he told her he forgave her.

Neil Honors His Mother!
The Winters patriarch doesn’t know much about his mom, but he knows the road she traveled with addiction. To honor her memory, he shows off her precious 25-year sobriety chip and drinks a toast of tonic water to her memory. His mom may be gone, but her overcoming her addiction is empowering him to live a better life.
