The Young and the Restless Spoilers: The Abbotts Mourn Their Mother

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, October 19, 2020, find the Abbotts saying their final goodbyes to Dina, while Chance learns that his future has been endangered by his past, and Nick and Sharon fret over Faith.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers Highlights

Dina (Marla Adams) was fading away. Jack (Peter Bergman), Ashley (Eileen Davidson), Traci (Beth Maitland), Abby (Melissa Ordway), and Kyle (Michael Mealor) were there to say their goodbyes. But first, Jack had to show her the necklace he’s convinced himself was the most important thing in Dina’s life. (Well, it certainly wasn’t the husband and children she abandoned).

Dina saw it and cried. Then she claimed that even though she ran away from them all, they were all still in her heart. That must have been an awesome consolation to children crying themselves to sleep. Dina proceeded to die and ascend (presumably) to heaven, where John welcomed her. Didn’t she say she didn’t even love the man? And where was her second husband?

In any case, Dina is gone. And Jack has a plan for keeping her memory alive. It involves… what else, that necklace again.

Not So Fast

Paul (Doug Davidson) is dying to welcome Chance (Donny Boaz) to the Genoa City Police Force, but there’s just the little matter of the background check regarding what Chance was up to in Las Vegas with Adam (Mark Grossman). Chance is pretty sure the past is dead and buried – literally, along with the guy they killed. Turned out that’s not exactly the case. Oops.

Our Little Girl

While Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case) worry about Faith’s (Alyvia Alyn Lind) reaction to her kidnapped past being dredged up thanks to Adam, Faith would really like to know if her mom still has cancer. Has she not told her kids yet?
