Newlywed Abby (Melissa Ordway) suffered quite the blow after learning her past miscarriage is stopping her from having a child. There is just too much damage and scar tissue to foster a pregnancy. Poor Abby shed countless tears and continues to cry to anyone who will listen. Did her tale of woe fall on the right ears?

A Compassionate Heart

Mariah (Camryn Grimes) feels terrible for her favorite friend. She knows how much Abby was looking forward to getting married and becoming a mother. It is unfair she only gets one and not the other. How very sad.

This has Mariah thinking about her own future and plans for children. Mariah and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) definitely want kids of their own one day. One day in the far future. Definitely not yet.

Mariah is not ready to raise a baby right now, but is she ready for a pregnancy? Spoilers and rumors of a surrogacy story are floating around the fandom. First, viewers were sure Lola (Sasha Calle) would step up, but what if Mariah the one who does so instead?

It all makes sense. Mariah thinks the world of Abby and always goes above and beyond for the people she loves. Doing this for Abby would be the ultimate bonding experience and she could help her bestie fulfill her dreams.

What Could Go Wrong?

While this all sounds fine and good, we sense trouble ahead. All will probably be great if Mariah gets pregnant with one baby, but what if there are two? How will she handle birthing twins and giving them away? Will this trigger that part of her who always felt Cassie but never had a chance to meet her?
