The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal Abby is ready for motherhood. The newlywed bride is even disappointed she did not get pregnant on her honeymoon. What a perfect way to start the perfect marriage, right? Well, sure, but it does not seem to be in the cards for this couple.

Abby (Melissa Ordway) cannot wait to be a mommy. However, getting pregnant is easier said than done. She was hoping to already be carrying Chance’s (Donny Boaz) baby and cementing their family but it looks like this is going to be a long road.
Pregnancy Problems
Does this mean the couple is going to have problems conceiving? It would not be surprising, especially after Abby tragically lost her daughter just a few short years ago. Her fall down the stairs and the death of her baby could have taken much more of a physical toll than she thought. What if Abby can not biologically have her own bundle of joy?
Not All Hope Is Lost
At least in these modern times, there are many options for Abby and Chance to consider. If IVF or hormone therapy is not right for her, perhaps she can adopt. It would be a great way to bring a baby into the family.

She could also take a page out of Lily’s (Christel Khalil) book and find a surrogate to carry her little one. Of course, not everyone is as kind as Mac. But, we can see one person in town stepping up. Who would be better than Abby’s good friend, Lola?
A Surrogacy Story?
It would be a beautiful story for Lola (Sasha Calle) to be the person helping Abby expand her family. The women have been close friends since Lola first came to town. They are practically partners at the restaurant so why not be partners in pregnancy too. What could possibly go wrong?
A lot, actually. If Lola does carry the baby this could open the door to multiple storylines. Lola could have the baby and be a loving auntie figure or this could turn into a nightmare. Lola may just go off the rails and try to claim the child as her own. It would certainly make her a lot more interesting! The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
