The Young and the Restless spoilers show Abby’s baby fever is heating up. Abby wants a baby and she wants to be pregnant RIGHT NOW! So much so, her desperation seems to be a cause for concern.

Newlywed Abby (Melissa Ordway) is barely back from her honeymoon and already frantic to have a family. Talk about a rush! She has only held the title of wife for five minutes and she is pushing for a child. Unfortunately, this next step is not going Abby’s way at all.
Trying For Baby
Currently, Abby is spending nearly every waking moment daydreaming about a baby and it is taking its toll. She is taking pregnancy test after pregnancy test and worrying if she will never have a child.
While Abby is taking the next right step by calling her doc, we have to wonder what will happen during and after the appointment? If Abby and Chance (Donny Boaz) are theoretically good to go in the baby department, will she be patient and wait it out? Or, will she continue on this downward spiral?

A Dark Twist?
Even worse, what happens is Abby learns they can not conceive? She did lose a baby a few years ago and that could have a lasting impact. If that’s the case, we could see depression hit her hard, and the new wife spinning out of control.
The question now is, how much will Abby sink and how low will she go? Rumors of hysterical pregnancies, baby swaps, a surrogacy story, and even kidnapping are heating up in the fandom. Does she have it in her to talk herself into a false pregnancy or steal someone’s baby? Maybe.
Let’s face it, all it will take is for another couple to get pregnant (looking at you Summer and Kyle) to push Abby over the edge. Her jealousy will spiral and she will take drastic measures to get her hands on a baby. Perhaps, she’ll even steal baby Miles.
Will Abby Fall Apart?
It would definitely give a new depth to her character. Abby’s biggest past scandal was her time as the naked heiress. It could be interesting to see her go down a dark path. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
