Danny’s (Michael Damion)  riding high. He has a good time with his young fan, Cricket (Lauralee Bell) before getting the call his video is ready. He rushes to the studio to be with Lauren (Tracey Bregman) to check out their creation and kick off a new chapter in his career. His joy will not last long.

Traci Tries To End It All

Back at his apartment, Traci (Beth Maitland) is doing the unthinkable. The young, pregnant, mixed up mama-to-be turns on the gas, sits in a chair, and breathes deep, hoping to end her life.

It’s by sheer luck Danny left his notes at home and sent Cricket to retrieve them. She opens the door, smells the gas, and sets out to save Traci. She smashes windows, searches for a pulse, and calls Danny for help.

Danny Proposes A Shocking Solution

Poor Danny frantically rushes to the scene. He violently shakes Traci hoping to wake her up. Luckily, she does come around, however, she’s not happy to open her eyes. Her life is a mess and she’s quite distraught. How can she tell Tim or her family about the baby? How can she go on like this? Danny has a solution to her problem, and it’s a jaw-dropper!

Speaking of Tim (Scott Palmer), he’s at the club bugging Amy (Stephanie E. Williams) about Traci. Where is she? Is she okay? Has anyone heard from her? Oh, if he only knew.

Gina And Lauren Face Off

Back at the studio (and unaware of the drama), Lauren and Gina cause a scene of their own. Lauren wants a first look at the footage but Gina stands her ground. This his her brother’s masterpiece and he deserves to be there, too. They have some choice words to sling at each other.

Cora Crushes Victor

Expect to see some high drama between Victor (Eric Braeden) and his mom. Cora (Dorothy McGuire) is still in town and reveals herself to him at the Chancellor Mansion. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Katherine (Jeanne Cooper) claim she begged to stay and Victor loses it. How dare they betray him?!

Cora steps up in the most unusual way. She tells her son she’s just here for his money and duped them all! She doesn’t love him, she just wants to live the high life he can provide. Poor Victor suffers several emotional blows when his mom abandons him again. She later confesses to Katherine it was all an act. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
