When Traci (Beth Maitland) first came to town, she instantly crushed on Danny the rocker. They sang duets together. But so did Danny and Lauren (Tracey Bregman). It was quite a hot triangle for a while – complete with 1980s music video, featuring strobe lights, shoulder pads, and really big hair.
Danny and Traci did ultimately marry – but only because Traci was pregnant with her professor, Tim’s baby, and when she tried to commit suicide over his rejection, Danny stepped up to play the nice guy. But that was over 30 years ago, and 73% of the audience thinks she deserves a nice guy again – now and forever.
