On The Young and the Restless, Traci is always the overlooked Abbott child. She doesn’t have Jack (Peter Bergman) and Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) rivalry. She doesn’t want to run Jabot. She isn’t constantly needing to be bailed out, like Billy (Jason Thompson).

The Young and the Restless Polling

Traci (Beth Maitland) just kind of sits there, writing her books, periodically being brought out of mothballs to wag her finger at her misbehaving siblings and lead them down the path of goodness and light through her beatific example. Does she deserve more than that? What almost 2,000 fans would like to see happen with her next:

Love Is All Around

How about a new romance, 68% suggest? That weird fantasy flirtation with Cane (Daniel Goddard) went nowhere. Brad (Don Diamont), her daughter Colleen’s father, is as dead as Colleen is. (Well, he’s really in Los Angeles, passing himself off as a bastard named Dollar Bill, but he’s dead in Genoa City.)

Her very first crush, Danny (Michael Damian) is long gone, as is the professor who knocked her up back when Traci was a naive and insecure co-ed. So how about somebody completely new? Hey, Victor (Eric Braeden) hasn’t had his shot at Traci yet. And he likes to check out all Genoa City women. Then again, he does have Colleen’s heart. That would be… weird.

Woman on Top

During Jack and Ashley’s latest push and pull, Traci actually stepped in to run Jabot for a few minutes. She kind of liked it. And so did 26% of the audience. Why not put her back in charge? See what happens.

Girl Fight

Back in the day, it was Traci versus Lauren (Tracey Bregman), and 6% of you would like to see a revival of their rivalry. It’s not like Lauren has anything better to do, either. Maybe they could fluff out their hair and make another music video! The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
