The Young and the Restless Spoilers, Monday, July 8: Phyllis Sets Off Alarms

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal a run-in between Paul and Phyllis taking several shocking turns. A question here, an accusation there, and alarm bells ring all the way around. Make sure to stay tuned so you don’t miss a second of the juicy gossip!

A run through Chancellor Park brings Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) face to face with the chief of police. But that’s okay because he’s just the man she wants to see.

She has some questions about the law and Paul (Doug Davidson) always has all the answers. Of course, he’ll have some questions for her too.

Phyllis wants to know the statute of limitations on assault. Why you may ask? Well, because Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) back in town and they all know she walloped Sharon before taking off on the run.

Isn’t it time she pays for that crime? Heck, she could have killed Sharon with that brutal attack! (Sharon didn’t seem to care when she left Chelsea that voicemail.)

What’s a Police Chief to do? Change the subject, of course! He brings up Red’s most recent brush with his department. Wasn’t it only a week or so ago she was reported missing and had the whole town up in arms?

Phyllis covers her tracks with a short story about needing time and space and yadda, yadda, yadda. She was not missing, she was just away. She then circles the conversation right back to Chelsea.

In fact, isn’t it weird Chelsea is hardly in Genoa City for a hot minute and her hubby is dead? Doesn’t Paul think that’s weird? He should really be on the lookout for that girl, Rnothings. She is nothing but trouble.

Does Phyllis have a point? It does seem strange Chelsea was arguing with Calvin about giving up Connor and he turned up dead mere minutes later. Did she do something to help things along? Is Chelsea GC’s newest murderess?

Phyllis also has some Chelsea warnings for Adam. She’s become fond of the guy and doesn’t want to see him become obsessed only to have his heart broken.
