A run through Chancellor Park brings Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) face to face with the chief of police. But that’s okay because he’s just the man she wants to see.
She has some questions about the law and Paul (Doug Davidson) always has all the answers. Of course, he’ll have some questions for her too.
Phyllis wants to know the statute of limitations on assault. Why you may ask? Well, because Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) back in town and they all know she walloped Sharon before taking off on the run.

What’s a Police Chief to do? Change the subject, of course! He brings up Red’s most recent brush with his department. Wasn’t it only a week or so ago she was reported missing and had the whole town up in arms?
Phyllis covers her tracks with a short story about needing time and space and yadda, yadda, yadda. She was not missing, she was just away. She then circles the conversation right back to Chelsea.
