We find Adam offering his help — and getting (deserved?) suspicion in return, while Chelsea skips happily into the future… with no hotel. (And she doesn’t care.)

Victoria (Amelia Heinle) is in the hospital, in a medically induced coma. After being stabbed.

Oh, hell, what do we know? Lola (Sasha Calle) fell into a swimming pool in winter and ended up in a coma which led to a liver transplant. Clearly, biology works differently in Genoa City.

But while Victoria is, as they say, fighting for her life, there is no one at the help of Newman Enterprises. Oh, noes, Adam (Mark Grossman) cries! I will step up and help my estranged family in their hour of need!

Don’t worry, Victor (Eric Braeden), your least favorite child will step in and run things… just until your firstborn is all better, of course.

For some reason, his generous offer raises a suspicious eyebrow. Or maybe a few. Nick (Joshua Morrow) isn’t buying it. Neither is Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). But the only person who matters — now and forever — is Victor…

Chelsea: New Me

Meanwhile, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) handed over her shares in The Grand Pheonix to a blackmailing Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). And now she is really to start her new life!

The hotel was never her true passion, Chelsea told Abby (Melissa Ordway). This frees her up to go back to designing! After all, didn’t she invest in the hotel to launder some money?

And to spend more time with Connor (Judah Mackey)! Hey… where is Connor these days? Remember how, only a few weeks ago, being away from Mommy and Daddy caused him great anxiety and Bad Seed eyes? So much so that Chelsea had to move out of Nick’s and move in with Adam? And didn’t he want Sharon really, really gone?
