The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, February 25, 2020, features Billy finally admitting he isn’t the greatest, Amanda berating herself, Tessa defending herself, and Phyllis asserting herself.
The Young and the Recap Recap Highlights
Jill (Jess Walton) tried to get Billy (Jason Thompson) out of his head by suggesting he go back to work. Jabot is too toxic, he can’t go to Newman, so what does that leave? How about Chancellor Industries, Jill suggested! (Because getting a regular job at a regular company NOT owned by a relative just isn’t something that occurs to either of them.)
Billy went into a self-pitying spiral about how everyone who gets close to him suffers. Oh. So Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) stabbing is all about Billy? Got it.
Someone who actually has a right to feel guilty, Amanda (Mishael Morgan) is also suffering about bringing Ripley to Genoa City. Devon (Bryton James) decides to make it all about himself by choosing to feel guilty about having suspected Amanda for wiping her internet history.
Mariah and Tessa: Computer Dating
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) had a video-chat with Tessa (Cait Fairbanks). She was not pleased to see a shirtless Tanner in Tessa’s room or to see pictures of them on social media.
Mariah accuses Tessa of sleeping with Tanner. Tessa denies and swears she loves Mariah. Mariah slams shut her lap-dog without shutting it down properly. Then, continuing with her rebel, bad girl self, she heads off with Theo (Tyler Johnson).
Abby and Phyllis: Sell Out
Abby (Melissa Ordway) proved she’s a true Newman by deciding to solve her problems with money. She offered to buy Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) out of The Grand Pheonix — at three times what it’s worth. As an Abbott and a Newman, that’s probably just Abby’s allowance.
Phyllis didn’t want to play and Abby got notice she’s being sued by a former guest. Phyllis shrugged innocently. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
