Victoria (Amelia Heinle) is in the hospital, in a medically induced coma. After being stabbed.
Oh, hell, what do we know? Lola (Sasha Calle) fell into a swimming pool in winter and ended up in a coma which led to a liver transplant. Clearly, biology works differently in Genoa City.
But while Victoria is, as they say, fighting for her life, there is no one at the help of Newman Enterprises. Oh, noes, Adam (Mark Grossman) cries! I will step up and help my estranged family in their hour of need!
