The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Amanda Tells Billy Her Secrets

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, January 7, 2020, reveal a day of shock and surprise throughout Genoa City.

Amanda finally relaxes enough to let Billy in on (some) of her secrets, while Summer can’t seem to stop pushing Theo’s buttons. Will their off-again become on-again?

It’s impossible to believe that Billy (Jason Thompson) can think about anyone but himself these days. And his inner-monologues that really are not very interesting at all.

Every time Victoria (Amelia Heinle) says something, he thinks to himself about how wrong she is, how she doesn’t understand him, how he is complicated and deep and, surely, beyond the understanding of the woman he is sharing his life and raising children with.

Every time Victoria fails to read Billy’s mind, he goes running to Amanda (Mishael Morgan). But Amanda has issues – -and secrets — of her own. Viewers are much more interested in Amanda’s secrets than in Billy’s whining. After all, she looks just like Hilary.

Which is why we’re excited to hear what she has to say, especially as it pertains to the man she has a restraining order out against — the one who shares a last name with Hilary’s alternate identity.

Will Billy be able to sit back and (let us) listen? Or will he jump in with his own issues, and continue to leave us hanging? We think Billy will be thinking about himself. And we will hear everything in his head.

Summer (Hunter King) is trying to present herself as a mature, professional woman. It’s not helping her image that she’s continuing to tease Theo (Tyler Johnson). Not about work. Summer actually likes Theo’s work. But she can’t let go of her conviction that Theo is in love with Lola (Sasha Calle) and wants her for himself.

Theo denies and counters that it’s Summer who actually wants Kyle (Michael Mealor). It’s a very unproductive conversation.

Except that Summer seems to be winning. Will she eventually convince Theo to go after what he wants? And will she be oh, so sorry if Kyle’s marriage ends up breaking up over it? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
