Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Lola (Sasha Calle) are happy. And married. They are happily married. And yet, they are still on our screens. Are you bored? Over 3,000 considered the question.

Zzzz, what did you just ask, 56% are jerking up their heads and faking paying attention. Oh, yeah, Kyle and Lola. So, so boring. All they do is argue about Theo (Tyler Johnson), or kiss and make up… after arguing about Theo.
Lola’s dad, Adrian, stopped by, hit Kyle up for some money, then took off again. Lola got the flu, which they thought might be a Kola baby. Kyle asked for Summer’s (Hunter King) house-hunting skills. Zzzzz…. where were we again? Oh, right, Kyle and Lola. Still boring.

If Lola had an affair with Theo, that might be something. If Summer tells a lie to break them up, that would also be something. Heck, if their busy careers kept them too busy to spend time together, even that would be something. What they have now… is a big, old nothing. Let’s change that, hows about it?
No Change
When were Kyle and Lola ever not boring, a snarky 44% wonder? Their biggest discussions used to be about sandwiches, her being a virgin, and her liver. Heck, the most exciting storyline they had happened while Lola was in a coma! House-hunting? Really?
Are we really supposed to care about school zones for future Kola-ites? Even Summer is so bored she’s not trying to break them up. So, no, Kyle and Lola aren’t boring now that they’re married. They were always dull as dishwater. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
