The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, August 20 promise Nick trying to make peace with a new person, Jack testing how far he can bend the law before it breaks, and Mariah worrying about Tessa.
Burying the Hatchet
Nick (Joshua Morrow) was in the vicinity when Sharon (Sharon Case) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) decided to stop squabbling over a guy who isn’t even on the show anymore.
Nick decided to stop making peace with Victor (Eric Braeden) after his dad showed just how much he cared about his son.
But Nick is determined to extend an olive branch to Billy (Jason Thompson). A small part of it may be because he’s leery of Summer (Hunter King) continuing to hit on her mom’s boyfriend.
Still, a big part probably has to do with Nick really wanting to keep secret the fact that he slept with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni)… from both Billy and Sharon. A good way to do that is to be Billy’s new pal.
Billy, for his part, isn’t as enthused. Did we expect him to be?

Ashley (Eileen Davidson) is very, very much against Billy opening a chain of boutiques to sell Jabot products.

Voice On the Phone
The last time Mariah (Camryn Grimes) spoke to Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) there was some kerfuffle on the other end of the line.
That was a week ago, at least. Except Mariah is only now starting to worry about the woman she loves. Delayed reaction?
