Today’s Days of Our Lives recap for Friday, August 17 features Kate (Lauren Koslow) and Ted’s (Gilles Marini) showdown about Will (Chandler Massey).
Kate Pulled A Gun on Ted
Will came to Kate’s door to ask what she planned to do about Ted. Kate said that she would pay her former lover off to make him go away. Will said that he would pay Kate back, but Kate told him not to worry.
Kate then prepared to turn the money over to Ted and demanded that he leave Will alone. As he went to take the money, Kate reached into the briefcase and pulled a gun on him.
Meanwhile, Sonny (Freddie Smith) confessed to Adrienne (Judi Evans) that he still has very strong feelings for Will. Adrienne encouraged Sonny to follow his heart. After Will told Sonny that everything with Ted was settled, he announced that their “partnership” was over — but Sonny said he didn’t want it to be over.
Tripp and Ciara Come To Terms
Even though the majority of the roomies agreed to let Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) move in, Tripp (Lucas Adams) was worried about what the new living arrangements will do to his relationship with Ciara.
Ciara (Victoria Konefal) assured Tripp that she and Ben are just friends; a sentiment that Ben echoed to Claire. But Claire insisted to Ben that Ciara has feelings for Ben and that both she and Tripp see it.

Just as they all come to terms, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) walked into the loft to discover that Ben has moved in.
Kayla Comes Clean
Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) confessed to Marlena that Stefan is blackmailing her. After their talk, Kayla decided to tell Steve to let everything go, but Marlena told her that it won’t work.
Meanwhile, Steve called Adrienne to let her know that he brought back “a souvenir” — namely, Bonnie — from a quick jaunt to Chicago. Let the games begin!
