Saying Goodbye
It’s time for Michael (Chad Duell) to say goodbye to his son, but of course he has no idea that son is practically under his nose living with Lucas and Brad — but for how long now that the birth mother wants her baby back?
As Michael deals with his grief, Sam (Kelly Monaco) is there to reflect on her own loss and perceived loss. Remember, her first child, Lila, was stillborn, and she even believed Danny was dead for months shortly after his birth.
Sam knows what it’s like to grieve a lost child you never got a chance to know, but who you certainly loved. She is also there to comfort Lucas, who has to face the loss of a child.
