The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, August 13, 2020, reveal a very bad day for Adam. He is still in complete denial, but it’s getting harder and harder to stay that way.
Adam (Mark Grossman) needs some sort of proof in his mind that he is not the man that killed AJ Montalvo, so he calls up farmhand George and flies him to Genoa City. Of course, Victor (Eric Braeden) leaves a message with George first and George actually reveals this.
But after attempting to pretend he had no idea what Adam was talking about, he spills all, and Adam is left reeling. George gives him the same story that Victor did — that he was trying to protect his mother, but that still was unreal to Adam.
Meanwhile, Sharon (Sharon Case) is having a hard time on her side of town adjusting to her new normal after the surgery. Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) hears her having a nightmare and screaming things in her sleep but she tries to remain upbeat for her mom. However, Sharon knows something is wrong and gets the truth out of Faith on how she has been feeling — and what she has heard.
Sharon gets a bit of a reprieve when a little adult company shows up and she and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) bond. Vicky suggests that maybe the therapist needs a therapist and Sharon has to admit that maybe she does.
What Sharon does not expect is Adam later bursting through her door declaring he needs help. We are not sure why he’s turning to Sharon rather than Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) but he is sure to complicate Sharon’s life when she really doesn’t need complications right now.
How will Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) react to this and can Sharon resist being Adam’s ‘friend’ once again? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
