Considering how much Victor values blood relations in most The Young and the Restless spoilers, it’s actually to his credit that he considers Johnny as much his grandson as Noah, Reed, Conner, and Christian.

You wouldn’t know it from watching her behavior since she came back to Genoa City – either time – but Johnny’s biological mother is actually Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). (You would have been surprised to find that fact out during one of the classic episode reruns.)
Chelsea more or less raped Billy (back when he was played by Billy Miller), then tried to use the subsequent pregnancy to worm money out of him before handing the newborn over to Billy and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) to raise.
Stirring the Pot
You know who really hates Victoria these days? Adam (Mark Grossman). When last we checked in with him, he was furious at her for telling him that Adam, not Victor (Eric Braeden), actually killed the evil farming loan shark. This news kept Victor from signing Newman Enterprises over to his most scheming son.

You know who currently worships the ground Adam walks on and would do anything he says? Chelsea! Well, what if, in order to stick it to both Victor and Victoria for refusing to hand over that which he rightfully blackmailed them over, Adam convinces Chelsea to stake a claim on Johnny?
Remember how Adam was perfectly happy to take Christian away from Nick (Joshua Morrow), to the point where they ended up in court? Nick didn’t blink for a second when Adam said it was Dark Horse or Christian.
But would Victoria follow in her brother’s footsteps and trade her CEO spot at Newman Enterprises for the son she’s raised since birth?
We think she would. But then there’s Victor. Remember what we said about bloodlines up top? He may treat Johnny like a grandson now. But with his company at stake…. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
