The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, February 18, 2020, features two huge events: Victor’s 50th-anniversary party, and Phyllis making her move to take over The Grand Phoenix.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Victor (Eric Braeden) kicked off the evening (week?) set aside to lionize him by telling Nick (Joshua Morrow) he knows Sharon (Sharon Case) has breast cancer. (How?) He said if Sharon needs anything, they should come to him. Victor fixes cancer now, it seems.
At the big shin-dig, Noah (Robert Adamson) arrived to surprise his grandfather, as did Victor’s brother, Matt, and Victor’s ex-wife, Julia (Meg Bennett). The one whose lover he once locked in the basement and forced to watch Victor and Julia making love through closed-circuit TV. But, eh, bygones. She loves Victor, too, now.
Along the way, Victor and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) cooed over their wonderful relationship. That totally never included mutual cheating, blackmail, and many, many divorces. Yay, Victor!

Phyllis: I Want It All
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) told Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) what she has on Adam (Mark Grossman) and announced that Chelsea will be selling her shares in The Grand Phoenix to Phyllis.
Chelsea checked with Adam and, yup, he did it. Chelsea said she will always be on his side because every self-centered instinct she ever had is now mysteriously missing. Chelsea told Abby (Melissa Ordway) and admitted she’s being blackmailed, but wouldn’t say over what.
Abby was furious and ranted to Chance (Danny Boaz). Chance ranted to Phyllis, who filled him in on what she knows he did it, too. Oh, and by the way, in case Chance is wondering, Phyllis doesn’t just want half of the hotel. She wants all of it. And Chance is going to help her with that.
Chemo Demo
Sharon said she felt fine after chemo. Then she felt a little sick. Nikki guessed she’s pregnant. Is the woman not pushing 50? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
