Y&R spoilers show that Victor Newman is a hard man to figure out. The world is his chess board. His family is often his pawns, and they are forever trying to anticipate his next move. While his wife Nikki always has his back and his daughter Victoria is Daddy’s favorite, the patriarch is not above (or should I say below) pushing them aside or kicking them to the curb when it suits him. The elder Newman likes to prop Adam up only to knock him down, and Nick, well, he just gets overlooked time and time again. What about Abby, you say? Abby who? She is not even on his radar. Is it time to retire and let go of the reins? I, Sybil the Psychic, plan to look into the future for Victor.
By examining my crystal ball, laying out the cards, and reading the tea leaves, I plan to predict what’s coming up for Victor (Eric Braeden). But I make no promises because let’s face it – it’s not an exact science (and I’m not really that…talented). Okay, Let’s take a plunge into the unknown.
The crystal ball shows that Victor has some surprises up his sleeve for his family. He still has his fingers in a lot of pies. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) may be acting CEO of Newman Media, but knowing Victor, how long will that last? His children, Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Nick (Joshua Morrow), and Adam (Mark Grossman), are still reeling from his most recent business moves. Does the business tycoon have a master plan? Will they like it? Or are they going to have to step forward in a united coup to get him to step down? Let’s see what the cards have to say.
Victor pulled the Emperor card, which signifies authority and rationality. Victor is a force to be reckoned with. But that doesn’t mean he always knows best. A loss may require Victor to make a compromise and face big changes. Although he can tap into his own inner strength, he may be required to accept help from others.
Victor has always relied on his self-discipline and his leadership abilities. It is time for him to allow others to step up to the plate and be allowed to shine. The Emperor is followed closely by the Empress, signifying the balance of the two energies. Perhaps showing the ability to acknowledge the people who follow behind you to step forward will become your most powerful influence of all.
The card hints that Victor can lead by boosting the power of those around him rather than behaving like an authoritarian. A father figure who nurtures instead of rules. A true leader lifts people up instead of knocking them down. The Emperor can be a stabilizing influence or a divisive one. The choice is up to Victor.
In reading these tea leaves, I, Sybil the Psychic, spy a cloudy Palm Tree, which indicates difficulties will be resolved. Victor needs to believe in the abilities of his family and relax that he has given them the tools to do well. Sybil says, “In a time of test, family is the best.”
