The Young and the Restless spoilers sneak peek for September 18 will include a potential truce between Cane and Devon. That is, if Devon accepts the olive branch that Cane extends. And well, we’re not convinced that will happen. This photo preview for Friday also includes images of Chelsea and Sally, as well as Phyllis and Matt.

Key Takeaways

  • Cane extends an olive branch to Devon, but Devon may not be ready to accept it.
  • Chelsea comforts Sally as the former rivals share an unexpectedly warm moment.
  • Phyllis and Matt talk things out, while Jack, Diane, and Kyle deal with the fallout from their failed Patty plan.

Scenes from Genoa City: Friday, September 18, 2026

Cane (Billy Flynn) loves Lily (Christel Khalil). The two continue to grow closer, and because of that, Cane will do anything to help make Lily’s life less stressful.

While both Devon (Bryton James) and Nate (Sean Dominic) don’t trust Cane as far as they can throw him, it’s Devon who presents the bigger problem. He has been massively anti-Cane ever since the guy returned as Aristotle Dumas. And his mistrust hasn’t let up for a second.

Additionally, Devon certainly doesn’t like the fact that Lily has put Cane in charge of Chancellor. But on Friday, Cane is prepared to extend an olive branch, according to the weekly teasers. It’s up to Devon to either accept it or shove it back in Cane’s face. What will he do?

The teasers also reveal that Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) is about to comfort Sally (Courtney Hope) during a difficult time. The two have no issue being civil to each other despite their troubled history. But the images above show the two really talking and even smiling with each other. So stranger things have happened.

Also, look for more quality time with Sally and Audra (Zuleyka Silver). That couch will see several end-of-the-week conversations. Billy (Jason Thompson) will join Sally, too.

Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and Matt (Roger Howarth) have been working towards Matt’s redemption. At the same time, they have had differing opinions on how to get that done. Thankfully, their plan to put Sharon (Sharon Case) through the wringer only to rescue her went up in smoke.

But the two clearly have some stuff to talk about on Friday. And they’ll do that in front of Sharon and an out-of-rehab Nick (Joshua Morrow, Y&R’s Performer of the Month for August). And then they’ll take their act to the Chancellor Park Cafe.

Jack (Peter Bergman), Diane (Susan Walters), and Kyle (Michael Mealor) have a lot to talk about. Namely, how their plan to lure Patty (Stacy Haiduk) out into the open failed.

Jack’s no longer in a hospital bed. Instead, he is at home with his family. On Thursday, the unstable woman leaves them an ominous message that seems to have something to do with the stuffed cat she has been talking to. It looks like Kyle is holding Mr. Kitty, so where’s Patty?
