What to Watch Next Week on Y&R

The Patty Problem

This week, Patty (Stacy Haiduk) wanted Matt (Roger Howarth) to give in to his dark side. Next week, he may be the person who catches Patty, or at the very least, tries to stop her.

The just-released teasers suggest that he turns the tables on the woman who wants to be his friend. Matt has enough sense to avoid her particular brand of crazy. Maybe he can use this opportunity to his advantage.

Meanwhile, Y&R is putting Jack (Peter Bergman) through the wringer. A stabbing. Then a centipede bit him. There’s also the matter of his cardiac issue. Could it be part of his plan to lure Patty out into the open? The trap that Jack started on Friday continues into Monday. We’ll see if his plan is successful, and he or Diane (Susan Walters) can take their nemesis down.

Later in the week, however, Jack and Diane get an ominous message from Patty. What does that mean?

Romance, Genoa City Style

While Lily (Christel Khalil) and Cane (Billy Flynn) discuss their future on Tuesday, the day for romance (or attempts at romance) seems to be Wednesday. Nate (Sean Dominic) will show his appreciation for Stephanie (Vivica A. Fox) as the two grow closer and closer.

And Victoria calls the shots with Kyle. With Nikki now at the helm of Vibrante, there isn’t as much need to compare notes and strategize. So maybe Victoria gets real with Kyle about their developing relationship…she’s the one who takes charge. Additionally, Billy’s (Jason Thompson) attempts at romantic plans for Sally (Courtney Hope) go up in smoke. Ruh roh.

Amidst the Chaos, There is Peace

There are a couple of opportunities for peaceful interactions. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Sally have a rocky history. But Chelsea ends up comforting Sally during a difficult time. Does this have anything to do with Billy?

Elsewhere, we might find out that hell has frozen over should Cane (Billy Flynn) and Devon (Bryton James, who’s about to make an appearance on a game show with Khalil) achieve the impossible.

Cane extends an olive branch to Devon, who is in a better frame of mind these days. He’s opening a college. He’s talking and getting his feelings out a little more. And he knows that Lily would love it if he and Cane could bury their animosity for each other. Will it happen?
