Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Kyle (Michael Mealor) gave in to temptation again after previously insisting that their first time together had been a mistake that wouldn’t be repeated. Their attraction proved stronger than their resolve, making it increasingly difficult to pretend their connection was merely a one-time lapse in judgment. Meanwhile, Matt (Roger Howarth) shared his ideas about redemption with Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), who remained convinced he could prove he had changed. Jack (Peter Bergman) and Diane’s (Susan Walters) supposedly romantic getaway also continued to unravel as one mishap after another kept interfering with their attempt to relax and reconnect.
