The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, January 26, 2024, has viewers excited at the prospect of Nikki going head-to-head with Diane. Who will push whose buttons — and who will come out the winner?
When Diane (Susan Walters) first returned to Genoa City, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) — along with Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) — went literally mentally ill, trying to prove — to Jack (Peter Bergman), mostly — that Diane was the evilest evil who ever eviled. Evil. Well, that failed spectacularly.

Diane and Jack are now married. And, Nikki has, presumably, bigger problems. But that doesn’t mean she can’t steal a minute to remind Diane that she’s trash. Or, Diane steals a minute to tease Nikki for being a hot mess. Who’ll come out on top with this one?
We’re not sure what Traci (Beth Maitland) thinks she can do to help Ashley with her He Said/She Said Tucker (Trevor St. John) dilemma. But we are pleased as punch to see how determined Traci is to try. Ashley really wants to find out if her memory is playing tricks on her, and Traci has an idea for how they can make that happen. You go, girl!
Victor (Eric Braeden) doesn’t want her drama with Claire (Hayley Erin) to drive Victoria (Amelia Heinle) back into Cole’s (J. Eddie Peck) arms. We’re pretty sure he doesn’t want Victoria back with Nate (Sean Dominic), either, since he’s somehow decided that Nate’s concern for Victor’s mental health is proof he’s a traitor. (Which is even more proof of Victor’s declining mental health, from where we’re standing.) But Victoria needs support. And Daddy won’t let her get it from Cole, so she might as well turn to Nate. He’s been her backup guy for quite some time now.
