On the Friday, February 9 episode of The Young and the Restless, spoilers remind us that Mamie is still in Genoa City. And she still has big plans for reuniting her family. Or else.
Mamie (Veronica Redd) may have left Genoa City a domestic (a domestic with a million bucks in her pocket, but a domestic, nonetheless), but she came back a mogul — and a huge investor in Chancellor-Winters. Mamie wants to reunite her family (refresh your memory on that here), which includes Devon (Bryton James), Lily (Christel Khalil), and Nate (Sean Dominic).
Lily is currently out of town, Devon is taking meetings, and Nate is still feeling like the odd man out. Which means it’s time for Aunt Mamie to knock some heads together and tell the young people how it’s going to be from now on. But, first, Nate has a pitch of his own to make.
Diane (Susan Walters) was supportive of Jack (Peter Bergman) helping Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). Right up until…Jack started helping Nikki. He’s her sponsor now, which means Jack has to be available the minute Nikki calls for help.
Not only is Jack supposed to be with Nikki whenever she feels like taking a drink, even when he’s not with Nikki, he’s arguing with Victor (Eric Braeden) about Nikki. And when he’s not arguing with Victor about Nikki, he is worrying about Nikki. And, during all of that time, Jack is not thinking about Diane. She’s not quite as supportive anymore.
Everywhere Ashley (Eileen Davidson) looks, she finds new proof that Tucker (Trevor St. John) is right, and she’s wrong. Well, who are you going to believe, everybody else, or your own eyes. Ashley insists on standing her ground and fighting back. Even if it no longer matters to anyone. She will not let this go!
