Who’s coming and who’s going from the casts of The Bold and the Beautiful (BB), Days of Our Lives (Days), General Hospital (GH), and The Young and the Restless (YR)?
Here’s a list of the top exit and entrance news from all four daytime dramas. Find out if any of your favorite performers from yesteryear are returning to the shows you follow, or if any new actors or actresses have been cast in contract, recurring, or day player roles. Here’s the latest casting news from all the soaps.
Weeks after his character’s big wedding to Abby (Melissa Ordway), Donny Boaz has been let go as The Young and the Restless’ Phillip “Chance” Chancellor IV. The actor, who joined the show in 2019, made his last appearance on February 1.
In other YR news, Don Diamont makes an appearance as Bill Spencer, his The Bold and the Beautiful character, on Friday, February 12. Diamont, of course, once played Brad Carlton on the soap, before being killed off in 2009.
Two actresses are back at BB. Ashley Jones returns home for a stint as Bridget Forrester, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Eric’s (John McCook) daughter, starting Thursday, February 11. Meanwhile, Kelly Kruger pops back in as Eva, the Forrester International publicist, on Friday, February 12.
Over at General Hospital, Lexi Ainsworth will finally be back on screen this week, as Kristina Corinthos-Davis, Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Alexis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) daughter. She last appeared on the soap in October of 2020.
Réal Andrews, who was temporarily on leave from GH, is back on set taping scenes as Marcus Taggert; while Briana Nicole Henry, who was out due to COVID-19, should be resuming her role as Jordan Ashford, soon.
Asante Jones and Tiffany Daniels, who subbed for the above mentioned due, have both completed their respective stints as Marcus and Jordan.
Soon-to-be Days of Our Lives star Jackee Harry, who’s been cast as a mystery woman named Paulina, will be arriving in town with a daughter next month. Precious Way will portray Chanel. The daytime newcomer’s credits include a co-starring role opposite rap legend MC Lyte in Partners in Rhyme, an upcoming sitcom on AMC Network’s streamer UMC.
Victoria Platt has completed her latest run as DAYS’ Amanda Raynor. The baby-snatching doctor made her final appearance on February 3. Please note that air dates may be subject to change.
