Ashland Locke hasn’t even been on The Young and the Restless for a year yet, but his future is already of great concern to much of Genoa City. He merged his company with Victoria Newman’s. He married Victoria Newman.

It was super close, but 37% of you squeaked out a win by voting that the whole thing has been a scam from the beginning. Ashland (Richard Burgi) was never dying. He simply pretended to be in order to steal Newman Enterprises from Victoria (Amelia Heinle). And stick it to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) for almost letting him die. Marrying Victoria was just a sexy bonus.

Young and the Restless Love Will Keep Us Together

She’s never been happier, and he deserves an honest love after what Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) put him through. He said he was dying, 27% stubbornly insist, so Ashland should keep his word. Even if a better treatment comes up, Ashland should refuse to take it. Once a man commits to dying, there is no excuse for pulling through at the last minute. Victoria is already planning her widow’s wardrobe – we’re sure Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) has a killer concept – and Kyle and Summer are ready to play Mommy and Daddy for good. Don’t ruin it for them.
