Fans of The Young and the Restless are used to seeing Sharon Rosales front and center in Genoa City happenings over the last decades but suddenly she’s pouring coffee and listening to everyone else’s problems instead of causing her own.
The Young and the Restless Polling
You want to see her driving story again but what kind of story would Y&R fans choose to see her in this time? After all, she’s run the gamut. Almost 2,000 fans decided her future and this is what they hope it is:
Hey Baby
Apparently, 45% of viewers feel that Sharon (Sharon Case) and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) should adopt a baby. You know that Rey was devastated when it turned out he wasn’t the father of his now ex-wife Mia’s (Noemi Gonzalez) baby. Instead, his brother, Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela), was revealed to be the father. Sure, Sharon already has kids but Rey didn’t get to raise them. He deserves a chance at a wee one.
Young and the Restless: Affair of the Heart
Then, there’s the 29% who believe that Sharon isn’t really into her marriage with Rey and instead should seek refuge in an affair with her first (and some say true) love, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). It’s high time there’s another illicit affair in Genoa City and you think a Sharon and Nick affair is the ticket to the drama you crave.
Health Issues
A recurrence of her cancer is what an unlucky 13% want to see her tackle next. That last bout wasn’t as dramatic as you expected so you want to see the character have to deal with this life-and-death issue one more time — but of course, she should beat it again!
A Walk On The Wild Side
The rest of you — 13% are hoping the story Sharon gets next is to resume her affair with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Their chemistry sizzles but hasn’t had a chance to really be explored since Grossman took over the role. Everyone knows these two have got it — now you want to see it onscreen.
