The Y&R spoilers recap for Thursday, March 10, 2022, brings Victoria Newman Locke going all in for her husband Ashland Locke as Victor Newman, Nikki Newman, and Adam Newman worry about her. Meanwhile, Nate Hastings feels something is off and so does Lauren Fenmore Baldwin.
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) feels her father has gone too far. They’re past the point of no return now. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) tried to reason with her daughter, but Victoria steadfastly stuck by her man. She pushed so hard that Nikki actually stormed away from Victoria, basically saying “well I never” after her daughter accused her of not being on her side.
Nikki went to Victor (Eric Braeden) and Adam (Mark Grossman) at Newman Media where they all fretted about the situation. They also worried about Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc).
Speaking of Michael, his wife Lauren (Tracey Bregman) wanted to know where her husband is now. She even talked to Michael’s brother, Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) to get his take on things. While Kevin tried to keep his sister-in-law calm, he privately told his wife Chloe Mitchell Fisher (Elizabeth Hendrickson) that he’s worried.
Later, they met with Lauren and agreed that she’s right to worry about Michael. In fact, Kevin hacked into Michael’s devices, and he found absolutely nothing but dead ends. Kevin promised if he doesn’t turn up very soon, he’d enlist the help of his cop buddies at the Genoa City Police Department. Whew! They’ll find Michael in Peru for sure.
Lauren stormed to Newman Media to see Victor (somehow everybody realizes that is where he’ll be these days). She demanded answers, but Victor kept things vague even though he felt worried. Lauren vowed she’d never forgive Victor if anything happened to Michael, and then she left. Victor grabbed the phone and instructed somebody to find Michael as soon as possible.
Nate (Sean Dominic) confronted his friend Ashland about the allegations against him. Ashland explained, but Nate didn’t buy what the Locke Ness Monster was selling. Ashland could tell, but when Victoria walked in, she didn’t realize how Nate felt.
Later, Nate saw Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) at Society, and they had brunch. He told her that something huge is happening with Ashland, but didn’t give her the details, and she didn’t press him for them. Ultimately, Elena advised her boyfriend that if something doesn’t feel right, it’s probably wrong, and he agreed. In fact, that’s the problem. Things with Ashland and the job at Newman Locke just feel wrong.
Finally, Victoria decided to prove to her shady husband that she trusted him above all else. She trusted him more than her brother, more than her mother, and more than her father.
After all, Victoria and Ashland have had a long and trusting romance…er, maybe not. No matter, Victoria decided to make things officially official, and she had Ashland sign the new contract. Now Ashland is co-CEO of Newman Locke alongside Victoria, and it looks as if he’s bested The Great Victor Newman. At least for now.
