The Y&R spoilers recap for Friday, June 3, 2022, brings a disagreement about the meaning of things between Noah Newman and Allie Nguyen. Plus Phyllis Summers and Jack Abbott try to reassure Summer Abbott and Kyle Abbott, Victor Newman gives Ashland Locke an ultimatum (again), and Nikki Newman worries that her trip with Victoria Newman didn’t work.
Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) sat down at Crimson Lights with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang). They discussed how wonderful it was for the whole Abbott family to be home. Both Traci and Allie seemed to have a tentative truce with Diane, who seemed to be mostly on her best behavior.
Then, Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) walked in, and he and Allie talked about The Grinning Soul podcast. Traci wanted to know more too since she’s a listener. Allie and Noah disagreed about the meaning of the last one dropped. They went out to the patio and further discussed it, reaching a flirty agreement to mostly agree to disagree.
At The Grand Phoenix, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) tried to reassure Summer (Allison Lanier) that everything was okay and that she and Jack (Peter Bergman) would get past their argument. Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) had her friend cut the crap after Summer left and tell her what happened. Phyllis confessed she engaged in PDA with Jack to get under Diane’s skin.
Back at the Abbott mansion, Jack tried to keep Kyle (Michael Mealor) from focusing too much on what was wrong with him and Phyllis. Instead, he gave his son the great news that he supported Jabot buying Marchetti.
Later, Kyle and Summer met back up, and they lamented their parents’ problems. However, they cheered up instantly when Kyle told Summer that they were one step closer to moving home permanently. They also felt tentatively happy and somewhat worried because Kyle got the news that Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) had been served their restraining order.
Speaking of Ashland, he went to Newman Media to confront Victor (Eric Braeden). However, The Mustache wasn’t having it. He flat out told Ashland that he better get out of Genoa City or else. Ashland warned his foe that Victoria (Amelia Heinle) wouldn’t appreciate what her father had done, but Victor felt (as usual) that he knows best for everyone — especially Victoria.
At Newman Enterprises, Victoria relied on her cane, and she told her mother that she had no intention of talking about her situation with Ashland with anybody in the family anymore. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) texted Victor that she wasn’t so sure their trip had worked for Victoria.
Later, Victor showed up, and he was thrilled to see Nikki again. Things with Victoria seemed unsettled, though.
