Y&R Spoilers Recap For July 21: Lily Makes Phyllis An Eye-Popping Offer

The Y&R spoilers recap for Thursday, July 21, 2022, brings Lily Winters making Phyllis Summers an eye-popping offer for The Grand Phoenix, and when Phyllis runs it by Jack Abbott, things get real…quickly. Plus, Adam Newman tries to warn his family about Ashland Locke while Noah Newman prepares to give his dad some news, and Allie Nguyen lets Ashley Abbott know that she can’t be manipulated anymore.

Y&R Spoilers Recap Highlights

Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) got quite a surprise when Lily (Christel Khalil) showed up at The Grand Phoenix. She mentioned how Chancellor Winters needed a place for their musicians and their entourages to stay, and Phyllis quite loved the idea. She even suggested a rock-star level collab as the exclusive hotel of Chancellor-Winters.

However, that wasn’t quite what Lily had in mind. Instead, she wanted to buy the whole hotel. Didn’t Lily know, though, that Phyllis was the phoenix rising out of the ashes (where have we heard that reference before in daytime)? Phyllis’s eyes nearly popped out of her head when she saw Lily’s offer, but she turned her down.

Then, Jack (Peter Bergman) showed up to meet with Marchetti’s board members. Phyllis showed him Lily’s offer, and his eyes got huge too. Then, he quickly told her it was a deeply personal decision and none of his business. Phyllis proclaimed her love for him, and he said he loved her too, which is why everything hurt so much. Phyllis admitted she didn’t feel she belonged in Genoa City anymore and only stayed for Summer Newman Abbott’s (Allison Lanier) sake.

Young and the Restless: Out For Blood

At Newman Enterprises, Adam (Mark Grossman) tried to talk to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) about Ashland (Robert Newman) and the risk he posed, but The Mustache fears no one. Ashland is nobody and no danger to the Newmans. Obviously.

At Society, Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) enjoyed a meal together, and she basked in the glow of them working together again. Adam showed up and warned them Locke was out for blood, and unlike Victor, Nick and Victoria took him more seriously. After Adam left, Victoria promised Nick she’d consider moving to the Ranch for a while.

Later, while she was walking through Chancellor Park, Victoria was talking on the phone, but she seemed to sense something nefarious. Then, after she hurried off, Ashland looked on after her.

Y&R Spoilers Recap: Too Good

At Crimson Lights, Noah (Rory Gibson) talked to Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) about Allie (Kelsey Wang). He worried everything was going too well, and Sharon gave him advice. Then, she also advised her son to talk to Nick, so he called his dad, and Nick went over to Crimson Lights to find out what was up.

Y&R: Manipulation

At the Abbott mansion, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) talked with Allie. She tried to steer the conversation to how Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) used Allie to get back in Jack’s good graces, but Allie saw through her new great aunt. She informed Ashley that she wouldn’t allow anyone — even Ashley — to manipulate her anymore.
