Y&R Spoilers Recap Highlights
Well, we knew it would happen. It seems Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) doesn’t trust Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), and of course, Phyllis doesn’t trust Nikki. Oh, and where in the world is Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson)? Away for work, obviously.

Nikki thinks when push comes to shove, Phyllis will put the brakes on taking down Diane (Susan Walters) if she has to choose between that and hurting Summer (Allison Lanier). As for Phyllis, she pointed out that she’s the only one who’s actually doing anything about the situation.
Before that, Phyllis met with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) at Society, and she told him she was ready to accept Lily Winters’s (Christel Khalil) offer on The Grand Phoenix. Billy immediately realized Phyllis was up to something, and he suspected it had to do with Diane. Then, he dropped the bombshell that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) had offered Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) co-CEO position at Jabot. That poured a bit of water on Phyllis’s fire, but she still didn’t let it stop her.
Earlier, Abby Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) had stopped by the ranch, and she told Nikki she feared that Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) was keeping something about his investigation from her. That worried her.
Young and the Restless: Big Idea
Kyle met with Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) at the rooftop bar. They talked briefly about Tessa’s healing post-surgery and then about Harrison Locke’s (Kellen Enriquez) reaction to Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) death. When Tessa, who still couldn’t speak, went to grab their drinks, Mariah asked a big favor of Kyle. She pitched the idea that Tessa could work as a model for Marchetti’s newest fashions while she’s recovering from her surgery. Kyle seemed put on the spot about it but said he’d think about it.
Later, Summer showed up, and the newlyweds left. She told Kyle all about her earlier meeting at Crimson Lights with Diane. It seemed Kyle’s mother held out some type of fantasy that Phyllis would forgive her, and they’d become friends. Both Kyle and Summer realized hell would freeze over before that happened. They wondered…again…if they’d made a huge mistake.
Meanwhile, at the coffee shop, Jack walked in, and he thanked Diane for some books on grief that she gifted Harrison. The two bonded over their grandson, and Diane looked hopeful.
Y&R Spoilers Recap: Calm Before The Storm
On the patio at Crimson Lights, a distracted and sad Imani (Leigh-Ann Rose) ran into Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), and they talked about her mom a bit. Imani told Nate that he was the only one who could calm her down before her flight to see Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey).
Then, talk turned to work, and Nate expressed his hesitation over Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) idea that he have a mentor. Imani thought the whole thing was a terrible idea, and she got Nate worked up over it again too.
Y&R: The Past
At Chancellor Winters, Elena (Brytni Sarpy) showed up to talk to Devon about Nate. She knew her boyfriend wouldn’t like it, but she wanted to see what was happening anyway. She brought up their past and once again apologized for her role in any animosity that still existed between Nate and Devon. Devon reassured Elena that things were fine, but she wasn’t so sure.
Later, Devon showed up at Society, and he caught up with Abby. He revealed that Amanda Sinclair’s (Mishael Morgan) mom was in a coma, and she let him know she felt concerned over Chance’s investigation into Ashland’s death.
