Young and the Restless: Giving Up On Love
After Nate (Sean Dominic) stepped away to see Audra, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) wasted no time confronting her mom about her recent lunch with Nate. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) defended her actions, and she warned Victoria that Nate had ambitions. However, Victoria denied that Nate was a concern. She insisted he was an asset to the company.
Nikki dropped the bombshell that Nate didn’t love Victoria, and she warned her daughter not to fall in love with him. Victoria let her mom know she wasn’t falling in love, and Nikki encouraged her daughter not to give up on love. However, Victoria said love was just the one thing she wasn’t good at. “Love isn’t really an issue for me because I won’t let it be,” she said. Victoria insisted Nikki back off.

Nate showed up at Audra’s (Zuleyka Silver) room, and she told him that she was in a mess she inherited from Tucker. She explained the details of the cover-up of statutory rape. Audra said that Adam wanted her to convince Victor that Newman Media and McCall merging made sense.
Nate tried to keep her calm, and he said they would deal with it. She nervously told him her plan to convince Victor to allow the merger, but Nate warned her that she needed a plan B. Audra said she was trying, but she wanted Nate to convince Victoria.
Nate interrupted Nikki and Victoria at Newman Enterprises, and Nikki left. Victoria wanted an update about what he’d gone to see Audra about.
Young and the Restless Recap: Future Plans
Summer (Allison Lanier) begged Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) to tell her the truth. She didn’t love seeing Tucker in her room. Phyllis ultimately admitted that Tucker found Carson and he was blackmailing her to help make Diane spiral. She laid it all out for her daughter.
Summer was appalled by Phyllis’s trading owing Tucker for owing Adam, and she wondered what her mom was thinking. She complained that she couldn’t trust anything Phyllis had said since her return. “After everything that has happened, Mom, it seems like you haven’t changed,” Summer said. She blamed Phyllis for causing her pain and blowing up her marriage. Summer said Phyllis would never change and left.
At the GCAC bar, Daniel (Michael Graziadei) confronted Tucker (Trevor St. John) about Phyllis. Tucker denied they were scheming, but Daniel didn’t buy it, and he warned the older man to stay away from his mother.
Summer and Daniel sat down together in the jazz lounge. They complained about their mom’s stubbornness. Daniel said Phyllis should serve time in prison instead of Summer, and she agreed with her brother.
Later, Audra joined Tucker at the GCAC bar, and he apologized for earlier, claiming it was all his fault and not hers. She updated him that she was handling things, but they were far from over.
Phyllis walked into Crimson Lights, and Heather (Vail Bloom) and Christine (Lauralee Bell) were there. “I’m ready to make a deal,” Phyllis said. “I’m taking the deal. I’ll plead guilty to avoid a trial. I need to protect my daughter at all costs.”
Y&R Recap: Olive Branch
Abby (Melissa Ordway) stopped by Jabot to talk with Jack (Peter Bergman). She asked her uncle to make amends with her mom before the next week when Ashley and Tucker have their wedding at the Chancellor mansion. Jack was appalled to hear that Abby and Devon were hosting the “sham of a marriage.” He felt scared for Ashley because the marriage was not about love but power.
As they talked, Abby asked Jack not to bring Diane to the wedding, which he didn’t like. Jack said he couldn’t help Abby fix the drama between him and Ashley. Abby said she was extending an olive branch, and she asked Jack to get in a room with her and her mom to discuss things, and he agreed.
