Y&R Recap: Sharon Eases Mariah And Tessa’s Fears

The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, August 30, 2023, brings some motherly comfort from Sharon as she tries to help Mariah and Tessa make plans for moving forward with Aria’s treatment.

Also in this episode, Adam tried to force Sharon and Nick to tell him what Victor had planned with the merger. Victor informed Audra that he had plans for her, and she updated Nate on the situation. Young and the Restless: Everything Will Be All Right

At the tack house, Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) cried as she sang “Itsy Bitsy Spider” to Aria. Mariah (Camryn Grimes) reassured her wife that their daughter could feel the singing even if she didn’t hear it. They promised to get through things together.

Mariah called Sharon and asked her to stop by the tack house. Sharon left Adam in the park, refusing to answer his questions. Sharon went to see Mariah and Tessa, and they updated her on Aria’s test results.

Sharon tried to calm their nerves, reminding them that they should start the next steps with hopes that it would work. She told the tearful moms to take it all one step at a time.

Later, Mariah and Tessa cuddled on the couch, and Tessa sang while hugging her wife. Mariah could feel the singing, and she said it was beautiful.

Young and the Restless Recap: Plans

Sharon (Sharon Case) gave Adam (Mark Grossman) a frosty greeting in the park. Adam assumed Sharon had made other plans for herself, but she wouldn’t tell him until she could tell him, Nick, and Victor together.

Sharon laughed in Adam’s face when he continued cajoling her to tell him her plans, and she called him out on his bad behavior. She accused him of being self-serving and reminded him that his actions have consequences.

Nick (Joshua Morrow) went to the ranch to tell Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) about the situation with Adam and the merger. Nikki didn’t know what Victor had planned, but she tried to calm her son. They changed the subject to Victoria ousting Nick at Newman Enterprises, and Nikki admitted she hated what her daughter did.

Nikki asked Nick not to make any moves until things played out. He said he couldn’t continue living as he had been with power plays between Adam, Victoria, and Victor.

At the GCAC, Victor (Eric Braeden) was in Audra’s (Zuleyka Silver) suite, and he let her know about the merger. She presumed she’d be let go, but Victor promised he had plans for her…he just wasn’t ready to share them.

Victor left, and Audra called Nate (Sean Dominic), and he showed up at her suite. She let him know what Victor confirmed. Audra didn’t trust that Victor wouldn’t eventually push her out of Newman Media, but Nate reassured her, promising he had her back. She thanked him and asked him out to dinner since Victoria was in Los Angeles. After Nate left, Kyle texted to ask her to dinner, but she said drinks before instead.

Later, Victor joined Nikki and Nick at the ranch. Nick let his dad know how tired he was about everything with Adam. Victor didn’t like Nick’s tone, but Nick got a text and had to go. Victor and Nikki discussed how upset Nick was, and she said she couldn’t have their son pull away from the family again. Victor said he was sick and tired of their sons fighting, but Nikki blamed it all on Adam.

Y&R Recap: Worries

At Crimson Lights, Adam ran into Nate. Nate mentioned the merger, and Adam wouldn’t give any details. Nick walked in, and Nate wondered what Nick knew. Ultimately, Nick said the merger was on the table, but it may not happen. Nate snarked about Adam and wished them good luck.

Sharon walked in, asking to speak to Nick in private, and Adam wasn’t happy. Ultimately, Adam left, and Sharon updated Nick that she wanted to get Kirsten Inc. out of the deal. Nick promised to back Sharon up with Victor. As they talked, both Sharon and Nick got a text from Victor to go to the ranch.

Adam ended up at the GCAC bar, and Audra congratulated him for getting what he wanted. She asked Adam if she was going to lose her position, but Adam said she was making too many assumptions. Audra goaded him that his actions might have caught up with him. He got a text from Victor with a summons.

At the ranch, Victor reassured Nikki that he adored her, but she wanted to know what he was up to.
