Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Also in this episode, Sharon and Mariah discussed Chance while Summer and Daniel talked about the same thing. Meanwhile, Billy and Jack decided to go on the offense against Tucker. Now let’s dig deeper into what went down.

Young and the Restless: Storms

A storm brewed in Genoa City, which meant Sharon (Sharon Case) had to cancel her business trip. She and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) were staying at her house, and Mariah updated her mom on the latest about Aria’s hearing. She worried that Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) wouldn’t be home to attend specialist appointments, and Sharon reassured her that everything would work out well.

Talk turned to Sharon’s growing relationship with Chance (Conner Floyd), and Sharon revealed that Summer seemed sweet on her boyfriend. Mariah advised her mom not to let Summer get in the way of her happiness. A knock came on the door, and it was Tessa (Cait Fairbanks), who’d returned at last. They went to their place and romantically reconnected.

At Society, Summer (Allison Lanier) and Daniel (Michael Graziadei) caught up with each other. She revealed she was okay with her marriage ending, but she wished Chance was free for her to pursue. Daniel was surprised, considering Chance was the one who arrested their mom, but Summer said she appreciated the detective’s compassion for her.

They discussed the pros and cons of Chance, and Summer didn’t want to be the other woman. She hated how complicated everything felt.

Young and the Restless Recap: Dirty Deals

Jack (Peter Bergman) and Billy (Jason Thompson) talked about Ashley, and Billy wondered if his brother could forgive their sister. Jack seemed willing to move on, but Billy said he had a tough time with forgiveness.

When talk turned to Tucker, Billy suggested they use Devon as his weakness since Ashley wasn’t one for him anymore. Jack wasn’t comfortable with that idea, though, and said he’d think about it, which Billy didn’t seem to love.

Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and Tucker (Trevor St. John) met at the jazz lounge. She gave him a hard time about what happened with Ashley, especially since he already needed a lawyer. Tucker refused to talk about Ashley, but he wanted to talk about the $2 million that Jeremy hid after her insurance paid out for her death. She had no idea where the money was, which also included half her life savings, and Tucker had a proposal for her.

Phyllis balked at the idea of making a deal with him, and she let him know she wasn’t interested. Tucker continued pushing his plan, though. All he needed was her IT skills, and he knew she was a free agent these days. As they talked, Jack walked in and noticed Tucker and Phyllis talking.

Phyllis left, and she walked past Jack, letting him know it wasn’t what it looked like. However, he didn’t care. Jack walked up to Tucker to let him know that Ashley told him the truth. He gloated to his brother-in-law about Ashley finally coming to her senses. Jack asked Tucker what he had planned, and he warned Tucker against getting revenge.

In the lobby of the GCAC, Billy asked Phyllis how she was, and she let him know that she was not so great. He admitted he was happy she’d been exonerated and advised her about haters. Phyllis wanted details about Tucker and Ashley, but Billy didn’t know much.

As Billy walked into the jazz lounge, Tucker walked out, letting Billy know he might be right that he was the only sane Abbott left.

Y&R Recap: Offense

Phyllis showed up at Sharon’s, and she wanted an update on her job at SNA Media. Sharon didn’t want to talk, but Phyllis insisted. “Am I out of a job, Sharon?” Phyllis asked.

Later, Phyllis walked back into the GCAC, and she found Tucker. She wanted to know what Tucker wanted for his investment. He promised it’d be minimal risk, and he’d give her $2.2 million for just a couple of keystrokes. She wanted the company’s name, but Tucker wouldn’t tell her until she was fully on board.

Meanwhile, Jack told Billy they had to go on the offense with Tucker, and Billy was all in.
