Now let’s take a deeper look at what went down.
Young and the Restless: How Could You?
Jeremy came in to talk to Diane, and then Jack showed up. Jack pretended he wasn’t aware of what was going on, and Diane introduced Jeremy to him. Jack asked what brought him to town, and Jeremy said business and catching up with Diane, whom he knew as Taylor back in Los Angeles. He pointedly mentioned that Diane was a grandma, and he mentioned wanting to take her out to dinner before he left town.
Jeremy left, and Diane freaked out about him showing up. She lost it over Ashley, Nikki, and Phyllis who had to have told Jeremy where to find her.

At Jabot, Phyllis wanted to go to dinner with Kyle and Summer, but they were hesitant. Ultimately, they went to Society together, and Summer found Nick drinking alone, so she chatted with him for a moment. She asked Nick to join them, but he tried not to. Summer pulled the dad card, and he reluctantly agreed.
They sat down with Kyle and Phyllis and made awkward small talk, and then Nick mentioned Diane. Ultimately, Nick left due to how uncomfortable things were. Summer wondered if her dad seemed off, and Phyllis said he did, but she was sure he was fine. On his way out, Nick ran into Jack and Diane. They walked in, and Diane yelled at Phyllis, and Jack took her to get their own table. Summer wanted to know what Diane was yelling about.
Kyle followed Jack and Diane to their table, and she revealed that Jeremy showed up at the Abbott mansion. Kyle marched over to Phyllis and told her off for siccing Jeremy on Diane. Summer followed her husband outside, and he told her that Diane said Phyllis told Jeremy where to find her.
Kyle left, and Summer stayed outside. Phyllis went out to talk to her daughter, and she told off Phyllis for putting her family in danger. She didn’t believe Phyllis feigning ignorance. Back at the Abbott house, Diane apologized, and Jack softened towards her. They hugged, and he assured her she’d bounce back in no time.
Jeremy Stark lounged in his room, reading Talia Morgan’s (Natalie Morales) articles, and Kyle knocked on the door. When Jeremy opened it, Kyle warned him to leave Diane alone.
Y&R Recap: When It’s Over
At Devon’s, he and Tucker continued having a nice time with Dominic. Tucker asked some questions about Chancellor-Winters, and Devon called him out, so they turned it into a general discussion about the company and family. Abby arrived, and she wasn’t happy at all to see Tucker holding Dominic. Tucker and Abby talked, and he tried to be conciliatory with her.
Tucker left, and Devon apologized to Abby for not letting her know his dad would be seeing Dominic. She said it’d brought her back to a messy time in her life. Even so, Abby agreed to let Tucker continue seeing Dominic, and Devon promised to monitor all his interactions with their son. Talk turned to Abby’s marriage, and she revealed Chance wanted a divorce.
At Crimson Lights, Chance alerted Sharon to the fact that his marriage had issues. She tried to talk him into believing it’d all work out, but Chance admitted that he wondered why they’d ever gotten together in the first place. Sharon urged Chance not to regret his relationship with Abby. She couched it as the end of a chapter and not a failure (even though it was a failure).
Sharon asked if he’d planned to be in Dominic’s life, and Chance was offended. He reassured her that he loved the little boy and would always be his dad. Sharon said she wasn’t trying to offend him, and that she was glad that he would still be part of Dom’s life. She suggested that he discuss co-parenting with Abby, and she pointed out that Devon could be a great buffer. Chance didn’t tell her why that might not be the case.
Victor walked in, and Chance let his father-in-law know that he won’t like the way things worked out between him and Abby. Victor went over to Sharon and asked her why she was friendly with a man who’d caused Abby so much pain. Sharon pointed out there was more to the story than he knew, and Victor asked what Sharon knew.
Y&R Recap: Goodbye, My Love
At her hotel room, Sally and Adam fell into bed. They slept together, and Adam wanted it to be a new beginning for them. However, Sally declared it was the end. She said they’d lost something that they couldn’t get back. Sally said she would always be thankful for Adam’s faith in her. Sally encouraged Adam to be the type of man he could be. They said a tearful goodbye, lamenting what they almost had.
Adam put his clothes on, and Sally had on her robe. He told her that she deserved the world and apologized that he couldn’t be the one to give it to her. Adam urged Sally not to settle for anything less than the world, and she tearfully kissed him goodbye. Adam walked out into the hallway just as Nick walked up. Nick opened Sally’s door without knocking, and he took in her state and the room, noting it was probably a bad time.
