Young and the Restless: Business Woes
Diane (Susan Walters) tried to keep Jack (Peter Bergman) from going over to talk to Billy (Jason Thompson), but he went and interrupted his brother and Devon (Bryton James). After Devon left them alone to talk, Jack and Billy argued over Billy bothering Devon when Jack was against it. Billy let his brother know that Devon had seemed concerned about Tucker.
Jack wasn’t at all pleased with Billy going rogue. Ultimately, the brothers disagreed. Billy accused Jack of not trusting him, but Jack thought his brother was too sensitive. As their voices raised, Diane walked over to put a stop to the argument, and Billy left after noting Jack wouldn’t change. They sat at a table, and Jack worried about the situation as Diane listened. He suggested he might fire Billy. Meanwhile, Billy went to drown his worries at the jazz club bar, and he texted Tucker to ask to meet.

Lily and Devon met at her place. She told him that she suspected Tucker bought Victor’s shares. However, Devon wasn’t so sure, and he argued that it wasn’t really dangerous since it was such a small investment. He also told Lily about his conversation with Billy about Tucker being a threat.
Lily thought that her worries were founded since Jack and Billy were also worried about Tucker. Again, Devon didn’t buy it because he didn’t think Tucker would go behind his back again. Lily didn’t like an anonymous investor, but Devon said her concerns were unwarranted. Devon reassured his sister that even if Tucker was the investor, he wouldn’t have a say in the company, but Lily still felt wary.
Young and the Restless Recap: Family Business Drama
Earlier at Newman Enterprises, Victor (Eric Braeden) refused to tell Lily (Christel Khalil) who bought his shares of Chancellor-Winters. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) walked in, and Lily left. Victoria was hurt that Victor replaced her portrait with his own, but he told her she had her own office.
However, Victoria didn’t know what she’d done to provoke such a response from Victor, but he insisted it wasn’t that. Victor insisted that his moves weren’t about her but the company, which he accused Victoria of mismanaging. She said she’d been set up to fail. Victor yelled about his children failing to work together, but Victoria said it was all his fault.
Victoria got teary as she argued with her father. Victor told her to accept his decision or leave. Nikki walked in as Victoria told Victor everything would fall apart if she left. Nikki wasn’t happy to hear the arguing, but Victor insisted he wouldn’t tolerate Victoria’s insubordination. She let her daughter know that she and Victor were leaving on a trip, so the changes wouldn’t happen immediately. However, Victor yelled that all the changes must take place immediately, shocking Nikki.
After Victor left, Nikki and Victoria argued over the situation. Victoria complained that Victor kept changing the rules, and she wanted her mom to stop ignoring the situation with Victor.
Y&R Recap: You’re Fired
Earlier at the GCAC, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) caught Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Audra (Zuleyka Silver) discussing resuming their affair. Kyle left, and Nikki told Audra she didn’t like seeing her with Kyle. Ultimately, Nikki decided to fire Kyle, and she put Audra on notice. Nikki told Audra she was on thin ice, and she wouldn’t have any other warnings.
Kyle went to Crimson Lights and flashed back to times with Audra over a cup of coffee on the patio. Later, he met Audra at the park, and she had to tell him he wasn’t working at Newman Media anymore. Not only did she fire him, but Audra also ended their affair.
Kyle took himself to the GCAC bar and toasted himself being unemployed. Victor walked up and joined him. Kyle updated Victor that Nikki forced Audra to fire him, but Victor told Kyle the whole thing was his fault because he was an Abbott who didn’t belong at Newman. He advised Kyle to return to his family business.
