The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, September 14, 2023, brings Audra and Tucker teaming back up to take down Jabot.

Young and the Restless: Ashley Mystery Intensifies
Abby (Melissa Ordway) worried about her mom, so she updated Jack (Peter Bergman) and Diane (Susan Walters) about her mom not answering calls. Jack hadn’t heard from his sister either, and nobody knew what to think about Ashley and Tucker’s marriage.
As they talked, Abby relayed that Tucker had made it seem as if Ashley had hurt him, and Diane wondered if maybe Tucker had told the truth. Jack pointed out Tucker might retaliate against them.

Jack and Abby gathered Traci (Beth Maitland) and Billy (Jason Thompson), and he let them know Ashley and Tucker split up. Neither had heard from their sister either. Billy thought he’d be the best one to get information from Tucker. Traci urged caution, but in the end, Jack gave Billy the go-ahead to connect with Tucker to figure out what he had planned.
In his suite, Audra (Zuleyka Silver) and Tucker (Trevor St. John) basked in the afterglow, but he called her out on wanting details on his marriage. Eventually, Audra got to the point…she wanted to know if Tucker planned to go after Jabot.
Tucker wondered why Audra wanted to know, and he realized something was up at Newman. They discussed their lack of trust, but Tucker eventually revealed that he was planning to take Jabot away from the Abbotts. Audra gave him all the details on the recent upheaval at Newman Enterprises. She admitted she wanted to work somewhere that she didn’t need to prove herself constantly, and Tucker seemed agreeable to hiring her when he took over Jabot.

Young and the Restless Recap: Family Matters
In the park, Daniel (Michael Graziadei) and Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant) discussed her and Heather returning to the States, and Lucy was interested in moving home. She and Daniel also talked about whether Daniel and Heather would get back together, and Lucy admitted she wanted that. He told her it might not work out, though.
Daniel let Lucy know things with Lily were going well, and he said things felt special with them this time. He didn’t seem to think there was any going back for him and Heather, but Lucy didn’t agree. Lucy wanted to know, hypothetically, if he and Lily weren’t together, if there’d be a chance for a reunion. “Maybe,” Daniel admitted, but he urged his daughter not to push this with Heather.
At Crimson Lights, Heather (Vail Bloom) asked Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) about Lily and Daniel’s relationship. Phyllis noted they had a bad history, but Heather didn’t want to judge. Ultimately, Phyllis wondered if Heather was willing to reunite with Daniel. She firmly told Phyllis that Daniel would choose his own path, and she asked Phyllis to stay out of her and Daniel’s private lives.
Heather met with Lucy and Daniel in the park, and she let Lucy know that they needed to return to Portugal soon, but she said she planned to return to the U.S. Daniel asked Heather if his mother had pushed her, but she let him know his mom didn’t step out of line. Lucy and Heather left to get ready to leave town.
Daniel went to his suite, and Lily stopped by because he’d texted her. They enjoyed some adult time, and after, he let her know Phyllis was trying to push him and Heather together. Lily told Daniel she thought Heather still had feelings for him. Daniel didn’t buy it, but he said if it were true, it wouldn’t matter since they were together. However, Lily said she’d understand if Daniel felt conflicted.
