The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, July 17, 2023, brings a big shock for Sharon when Adam presents an unexpected proposal at a rather inopportune time.
Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Also, in this episode, Chance (Conner Floyd) stopped by Crimson Lights after hours and got a bit more than a cup of joe from Sharon. Victor laid down the law with his children, and Victoria, at least, felt she got precisely what she’d hoped for. Tucker freaked out Audra when he drunkenly boasted about his recent winning streak. Now let’s dig deeper into what went down.
Young and the Restless: Interruption
At Crimson Lights, Chance stopped by, and Sharon (Sharon Case) promised to make him something amazing. She ended up telling him about Cameron leaving his company to her and sparks flew between them.
As things heated up, Chance and Sharon started kissing passionately. She locked things up, and they went back to her office to hit the couch. As they basked in the afterglow, somebody knocked on the door, insisting Sharon let them in.

She hurriedly put her clothes on, and she opened the door to Adam. He was agitated, and he let Sharon know that her idea to merge their two companies was off the table.
However, Adam had something better — himself. He offered a shocked Sharon his services in helping put the company back together.
Young and the Restless Recap: The Way It Is
Earlier, Victor (Eric Braeden) told Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) how disappointed he was in his children. At the jazz lounge, Nick (Joshua Morrow) tore into Adam, asking him to leave Sharon alone. Upstairs, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Nate (Sean Dominic) enjoyed some time in bed together.
Victor sent everybody a text summoning them to the ranch. They all hurried over. Once everyone arrived, Victor yelled at them all about what ungrateful, horrid children they were. He aired his grievances, and then he laid down the law. Nate would continue with Victoria at Newman Enterprises, and once Adustus had gotten straightened up, it would become a subsidiary of the parent company.
Of course, Adam had to agree to that, and he wasn’t at all keen on the idea, which is why he ran to Sharon. Everybody left except Nick, and he warned his parents that if Adam changed his mind about sticking with the company, he’d be even more volatile than ever. Victor swore he’d be finished with his problem child for good if Adam didn’t shape up.
Y&R Recap: Top Of The World
At the GCAC bar, Tucker (Trevor St. John) was in fine spirits. Audra (Zuleyka Silver) showed up, and he freaked her out by telling her how amazing life was for him at the moment. The whole world was his oyster. During their talk, he realized she was banking on Kyle Abbott, and he warned her that there might not be much to stick her teeth into with the guy, but Tucker conceded that Kyle is handsome.
Audra quickly left, and she texted Kyle to meet her in her suite. An intrigued (or maybe just nosy) Tucker watched as Audra walked upstairs.
