Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) makes a point of questioning exactly how Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) managed to acquire his mentor’s news stations when it appears he did not have the capital necessary to do so; Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) warned her ex to cease his digging.

Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) was incensed to learn that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) attempted to poach Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) away from ChancCom; Elena assured her that she didn’t even entertain the notion. The women then discuss Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Dominic.

Ashely Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) return to Genoa City in order to welcome Dominic and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) home from the hospital…Mariah continued to fret over Benjamin “Stitch” Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) absconding

Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) have an awkward cross at Chancellor Park; they agree to have dinner and drinks later that same day. Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) happened upon the two; Sally admits to Chloe that she and Adam kissed; Chloe warned her that Adam and Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) son is under the impression that his parents will soon be reunited. Afterward, Sally suggested to Adam that they hit the reset button on their relationship.

Ashland presented Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) with a large check intended to help fund the much-needed additional hospital wing; Nate was floored by Ashland’s generosity. The men hit upon the idea to double date with their respective loves; when informed, Victoria happily agrees.

Mariah is overwhelmed by the festivities at the Chancellor manse; she and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) excuse themselves…Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) agrees to play double agent for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) – whatever dirt Billy digs up on Ashland, and then confides to Nick, will be shared with Victor…When gently pressed by Victoria, Ashland swears that there isn’t anything in his past that she should concern herself with.

Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and Adam sparred over Sharon and Connor. Adam makes a beeline for Crimson Lights with the intention of seeking Sharon’s counsel; Mariah snaps at him and makes comparisons between her plight and the horror Adam put Sharon through with Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster). Sharon attempted to referee the two, but only managed to incur Mariah’s wrath as well; mother and daughter manage to part on warm terms.

Faith and Mariah reconnect. Afterward, Faith playfully assisted Moses Winters (Jacob Aaron Gaines) with practicing for his upcoming phone call with Sofia; Moses made a point of saying that Faith is one of the main reasons he wants to remain in Genoa City…Abby catches Mariah admiring, and waxing lyric about, Dominic; she is perturbed.

Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) spent the evening together with Chinese takeout; they discussed the absence of a romantic partner in Jack’s life and ruminated on being parents…Victor warned Adam against involving himself with Sally.

A snafu at Society necessitated Abby stepping away from Dominic; she reservedly accepted Mariah’s offer to babysit…Ashland, Victoria, Nate, and Elena have their double date; the evening is an unqualified success; at its end, Ashland surprised Nate, and indeed himself, by requesting that the good doctor serves as his best man.

Devon admitted to Lily that Dominic’s arrival has made him reflect on what might have been had Hilary and their baby survived…Sally and Adam indulge in what is ostensibly a working dinner; however, the romantic tension between them is palpable.

Abby feared for Mariah and Dominic’s safety when she returned home and couldn’t locate them. After phoning Devon, Abby’s gladdened when Mariah returns and reveals that she’s merely taken Dominic for a walk. During a subsequent convo with Devon, Mariah cracks that motherhood is harder than it looks – a comment which doesn’t go unnoticed by Abby.
