Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) returns from New York. He and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) reconnect. She tells him about the text she received from Adam Newman (Mark Grossman); both of them interpreted it as a threat…Victoria Newman Locke (Amelia Heinle) and Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) are perturbed following a run-in with Adam.
Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) strongly considers taking Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) up on his offer of employment. Victor reveals that Michael’s first task would be investigating Ashland.
Abby Carlton Newman Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) admonishes Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) for seeking legal custody of Dominic. He insists that he’s only doing so because he’s worried about Chance Chancellor’s state of mind.
Young and Restless Recaps: Tuesday, January 18
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) is put out by Ashland’s business practices…Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) agrees to join Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) at New Hope. Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) is thrilled, as this means her son will be putting down roots in Genoa City. Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) chafes at Sharon and Nick’s bond.
Nick and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) have an awkward cross…Summer Newman Abbott calls Phyllis with a job offer…Devon worries that his actions will cost him his friendship with Abby. Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) encourages him to not take the fight to the courts…Chance worries about his inability to bond with Dominic, and wonders if he and Abby just shouldn’t acquiesce to Devon’s demand.

Y&R Recaps: Wednesday, January 19
Sharon cautions Adam against striking out at Billy and Lily…Chance and Abby both converge at Devon’s. Devon wonders if Chance is ready to give Dominic all the love and attention that he requires, and Chance answers in the negative…Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) demands that Adam provide Newman Fashion with an off-premises office.

Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) proposes to Mariah. Mariah accepts…Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) attempts to get Devon out of his own head…Chance confides in Abby about his PTS triggered day and nightmares. He continues to press her about accepting Devon’s terms where Dominic is concerned…Nick questions Noah over his obvious interest in Tessa. Noah promises that it’s just lingering nostalgia and that he won’t be doing anything to disrupt his ex’s romance with Mariah.
Y&R Recaps: Friday, January 21
Abby and Chance inform Devon that they’ll meet his demands. Devon further requests that Dominic’s name be amended to Dominic Philip Abbott Newman Winters Chancellor. The spouses Chancellor agree.
Mariah and Tessa share the news of their engagement; Noah is thunderstruck…Victoria bandies about the idea of suing for the exclusive rights to the name Newman Media…Michael decides to work for Victor.
