The Young and the Restless recaps for November 8 – November 12, 2021, feature corporate wars heating up a notch, a mother in crisis, and so much more.

The Young and the Restless Recaps: Monday, November 8

Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) vehemently disagrees with Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) plan to blackmail Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Subsequent confrontations with Victoria Newman Locke (Amelia Heinle), and Adam serve to change her mind.

Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) encouraged Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) to forgo her flirtation with Adam, lest she make an enemy of Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan)…Billy failed to intimidate Adam with claims that he has Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) stashed away, as well as proof that Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) built his business with stolen money.

Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) each confide a secret in the other: she’s finding it tough to cope without Dominic, and he’s nursing a broken heart.

Abby Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) blithely announced to Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), Christine Blair Williams (Lauralee Bell), and Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) that she’ll be traveling to Spain to seek out Chance. Nina briefly considers joining her daughter-in-law, but Christine and Devon talk her round.

When Mariah overhears Abby reiterate her plans, she offers to move back into the manse in order to care for Dominic.

Young and Restless Recaps: Tuesday, November 9

During an awkward cross with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) let slip Chance’s presumed death. While Nick heads to Crimson Lights to pick up Abby’s favored pastry – and to receive some comfort from Sharon Rosales (Sharon Chase) – Phyllis took comfort in wise words from Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).

Victor requests that Victoria do everything in her power to dissuade Abby from going to Spain in search of Chance. Later, when Abby asks for use of the Newman jet, Victoria refuses…Tess Porter (Cait Fairbanks) voices concern that Mariah is setting herself up to heartache where Dominic is concerned.

Y&R Recaps: Wednesday, November 10

Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) and Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) debrief after spending the day in court; they are both pleased at how well Amanda conducted herself while on the witness stand.

Nick offers Abby a shoulder to cry on, then suggests that they take Dominic for a walk in the park; he’s perturbed when Abby loses herself in her grief to the exclusion of a fussy Dominic.

Devon begins to seriously consider asking Abby to leave Dominic with him while she processes her loss…Amanda suggests that Phyllis never truly got over Jack.

The Young and the Restless Recaps: Thursday, November 11

Abby turns to her prescribed sedatives in order to get some decent rest…Devon turns to Lily for advice on whether or not he should remove Dominic from Abby’s care; she encourages him to discuss the matter with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson); Ashley discourages the idea.

Abby frets when she realizes she slept through one of Dominic’s crying fits; she worries that she doesn’t have the capacity to give the babe the attention he deserves…Sally eavesdrops on a scheming Adam…Billy and Jesse contact Victor and Adam, and threaten to reveal everything they know about Ashland; neither Victor nor Adam are greatly concerned about the prospect.

Y&R Recaps: Friday, November 12

Much to Billy and Lily’s chagrin, the article detailing Ashland’s crimes is published…Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey) treated Amanda to lunch, during which she apologized for failings as a mother; both agree to let bygones be bygones…A distraught Abby showed up at Devon’s door, baby in hand, and begged for help.
