The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, October 18, 2021, puts Billy Abbott in the middle, trapped between his career and his relationship with the mother of his children. Plus, Tessa Porter and Noah Newman reconnect, while Nicholas Newman and Phyllis Summers hit a disconnect.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) gave Billy (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) an hour to decide whether they would publish the video he sent them, enumerating all of Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) past sins – or whether he’d publish it himself and scoop them.
But Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Ashland weren’t about to let that happen. Both threatened Jesse, and he backed down. When Ashland approached Billy, Billy agreed to do the same. He stressed he wasn’t doing this for Ashland, but for Victoria (Amelia Heinle). Lily was pleased. Victoria, on the other hand, was stunned.
Y&R Recap: Two of a Kind
Nick (Joshua Morrow) was still furious about Victoria choosing to ignore his warnings and marry Ashland. Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), somehow, took that as an attack on her. She wondered if Nick was comparing Ashland’s past sins to hers! How could he do such a thing?
Next, she wondered if Nick was suggesting Phyllis was like Ashland, a mistake Nick made. Nick talked her down. No! He never said that! Chill! And then he goes to confront Victor.
Young and the Restless: Old Friends
Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) vented to Noah (Rory Gibson) about Mariah Copeland’s (Camryn Grimes) desperation to have a baby. She’s trying to be supportive, but it’s so hard. Noah tries to be supportive of her.
Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) wonders if it would kill Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) to be supportive of the dress she designed for Victoria. Jack indicates that yes, it would. Sally grabs Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and announces they’re going to have some fun.
